Greek Protest (Αγανακτισμένοι) in Manchester

On 25th May Greek citizens in Athens and other major cities took the streets and occupied the central squares. Under the title ‘Αγανακτισμένοι’ (=outraged) and beyond political parties and ages, people have been protesting daily against the unfair austerity measures, against corruption and they have been asking for deep democratic changes. Following the example of people protesting in central squares of Greece, Spain and other countries, we gather in Manchester with the same dream of change.

30 June - Manchester Demonstration

11am All Saints Park, Oxford Rd - corner with the MMU building. Followed by a Rally at Castlefields Arena at 12.30pm.

Join the UK national anti-cuts strike and rally in Manchester, with banners and flags to raise attention on protests in Greece and Spain.

Right to Work calls for Spanish/Greek style city centre occupations on 30th June. The spread in the UK has begun:
